طيب

5 تطيّب ذ [quasi-pass. of 2, as such signifying It became, or was made or rendered, good, pleasant, &c.: and] he perfumed himself, or made himself fragrant, (A, Msb, TA,) بِالطِّيبِ [ with perfume ], (Msb,) or بِالشِّىْءِ [ with the thing ]. (TA.)
