طود

مَطَادَةٌ ذ A desert, or waterless desert, far-extending: (K:) pl. مَطَاوِدُ. (TA.) And the latter (i. e. the pl.), Places of perdition; (K, TA;) it is like مَطَاوِحُ. (S, TA.)
