طعم

مِطْعَامٌ ذ One who feeds others much, (S,) or who has many guests, (K,) and who entertains guests much; (S, K;) applied to a man, (S, TA,) and to a woman: (TA:) [and app. one who eats much: for] قَوْمٌ مَطَاعِيمُ signifies a people, or party, that eat much: or that feed others much. (TA.)
