صيف

مُصِيفٌ ذ : see صائِفٌ. ― -b2- Also, (M, O, K,) and مُصِيفَةٌ, (O, K,) [in the CK, erroneously, مَصِيفٌ and مَصِيفَةٌ,] and ↓ مِصْيَافٌ, (M, O, K,) applied to a she-camel, (M, O, K,) That has brought forth in the [ season called ] صَيْف: (M, L, TA:) or having with her her young one: (O, K, TA:) pl. of the last مَصَايِيفُ. (TA in art. جر.) ― -b3- And [hence,] the first, (tropical:) A man having a child born to him [ in the summer of his age, i. e.] when he is old, or advanced in age. (TA.)
