صيص

صِيصٌ ذ , in the dial. of Belhárith Ibn-Kaab, The [ bad ] kind of dates called حَشَفٌ; (S;) i. q. شِيصٌ; as also ↓ صِيصَاآءٌ; (K;) صِيصٌ and صِيصَاآءٌ being dial. vars. of شِيصٌ and شِيصَاآءٌ. (S.)
