صُنُوعٌ ذ in a sense in which it is used in a verse of Aboo-Dhu-eyb is a pl. of which ISd says, “ I know not any sing. thereof: ” accord. to Skr, it means The خُرَز [app. either the seams or the stitch-holes ] of a مَزَادَة or of an اـِدَاوَة: or, as some say, the thongs used in the sewing thereof: and some say the making thereof, so that in this case it is an inf. n.
