صقر

4 اصقرت الشَّمْسُ ذ (tropical:) The sun was, or became, burning, or fiercely burning; syn. اِتَّقَدَت; (M, K;) as also ↓ اِصْمَقَرَّت, (L and K in art. صمقر,) in which the م is augmentative: (L in that art.:) the former is from اصتقرت said of fire. (M.)
