صرع

مَصْرَعٌ ذ A place [and accord. to rule a time also] of throwing down, or prostrating, on the ground: (S, O, K:) [pl. مَصَارِعُ.] ― -b2- [And (assumed tropical:) A place of slaughter: for] مَصَارِعُ القَوْمِ signifies the places of slaughter of the people, or party. (TA.) -A2- Also an inf. n. of 1 [q. v.]. (S, O, K.)
