صرع

[ صَارِعٌ ذ act. part. n. of 1: pl. صَارِعُونَ and صَرَعَةٌ. Hence,] قَوْمٌ صَرَعَةٌ A people, or party, who throw down, or prostrate, those with whom they wrestle. (TA.)
