صدف

صَدَفِىٌّ ذ A camel of a certain sort, (M, K, *) of excellent quality, (K,) [ISd says,] so called, (M, K,) I think, in relation to a tribe of Arabs of El-Yemen, (M,) or in relation to a sub-tribe (بَطْن) of Kindeh, (K,) called الصَّدِفُ.
