صدء

صَدِئٌ ذ [part. n. of صَدِئَ, q. v.]. ― -b2- One says, يَدِى مِنَ الحَدِيدِ صَدِئَةٌ My hand is disagreeable in smell [ from the rust of iron ]. (S.) ― -b3- And هُوَ صَاغِرٌ صَدِئٌ (assumed tropical:) He is one to whom disgrace, or shame, and baseness, or meanness, attach. (S, K.) ― -b4- See also أَصْدَأُ.
