(MF.) And بِهِ ↓ حِيرُوا [if not a mistranscription for تَحَيَّرُوا] occurs as meaning (assumed tropical:) Remain ye therein; referring to a place. (TA.) And بِمَكَانٍ ↓ استحار (assumed tropical:) He alighted and abode some days in a place. (TA.) ― -b4- تحيّر بِالمَاآءَ (tropical:) It (a place, S, K, and land, TA) became full of water; as also ↓ استحار.
