حوض

مُحَوَّضٌ محوض A thing like a حَوْض, made to a palmtree, that it may imbibe therefrom; (S, K;) a thing that is made around a tree, in the form of the شَرَبَة, q. v. (M, TA.) See also حَوْضٌ.
