حن

حِنَّانٌ حنان i. q. حِنَّاآءٌ [ Lawsonia inermis, or Egyptian privet, mentioned in art. حنأ]; (K;) a dial. var. of the latter: (Fr, Th, TA:) and حُنَّانٌ is said to be a pl.; (TA in the present art.;) i. e. of حِنَّاآء, anomalously; or a dial. var. thereof.
