And فُلَانٌ حَامِضُ الرِّئَتَيْنِ (assumed tropical:) Such a one is in a loathing state of mind; syn. مُرُّ النَّفْسِ. (S.) -A2- اـِبِلٌ حَامِضَةٌ Camels pasturing upon حَمْض; (S.) or eating it; (K;) or pastur ing upon حَمْض after pasturing upon خُلَّة: (ISk:) pl. حَوَامِضُ: (S, K:) and ↓ اـِبِلٌ حَمْضِيَّةٌ Camels staying among حَمْض; (As, S, K;) as also ↓ حَمَضِيَّةٌ, contr. to rule: (TA:) and بَعِيرٌ ↓ حَمْضِىٌّ a camel eating حَمْض.
