حمد

حَمَدَةٌ حمد حمده حمدة The sound of the flaming, or blazing, of fire; (S, K;) as also حَدَمَةٌ [from which it is formed by transposition: see 8: and ↓ حَمْدٌ app. signifies the same: see حَدْمٌ]. (TA.)
