8 احتلى لِينَفَقَةِ ا@مْرَأَتِهِ ذ , and لِمَهْرِهَا, He exercised art, or ingenuity, for [ the purpose of procuring ] the expenses of his wife, and her dowry: one says, اِحْتَلِ فَتَزَوَّجْ [ Exercise thou art, &c., and marry ]. (TA.)
