حلس

1 حَلَسَ البَعِيرَ حلس البعير , aor. حَلِسَ (Sgh, L, K) and حَلُسَ , (L,) inf. n. حَلْسٌ; (TA;) and ↓ احلسهُ, (S, K, &c.,) inf. n. اـِحْلَاسٌ; (TA;) He clad, or covered, the camel with a حِلْس [q. v.]; (S, K, &c.;) put upon him a حِلْس. (Sh.) -A2- حَلَسَتِ السَّمَاآءُ, (T, K,) inf. n. حَلْسٌ, (TA,) (tropical:) The sky rained continually; as also ↓ احلست: (K:) or rained a fine and continual rain; (T;) and so ↓ the latter.
