2 حكّر أَرْضَ فُلَانٍ ذ , inf. n. تَحْكِيرٌ, as used by the people of Egypt, [ He made the land of such a one to be a حِكْر; i. e.] he [ enclosed, and ] debarred others from building upon, [ or otherwise making use of, ] the land of such a one.
