6 تحاقدوا تحاقد تحاقدوا [ They bore mutual rancour, malevolence, malice, or spite; they hid mutual enmity, and violent hatred, in their hearts; (see 1;)] they retained, or held fast, mutual enmity in their hearts, watching for opportunities to indulge it or exercise it speedily. (A.)
