حفل

مُحْتَفَلٌ محتفل : see مَحْفِلٌ. ― -b2- Also The most fleshy part of the flesh of the thigh and shank. (TA.) ― -b3- And The main part of an affair: (TA:) [and likewise of a place, or tract, or region; for] مُحْتَفَلُ البَيْدَاآءِ signifies the main part of the desert; syn. مُعْظَمُهَا and مُتَجَمَّعُهَا.
