حظو

هُوَ أَحْظَى مِنْهُ ذ He is nearer to him, [or more in favour with him, more beloved and esteemed by him, ] and more fortunate or happy [ with him ]. (TA.) [It may also mean He is nearer, or more in favour, &c., than he. ]
