(K.) ― -b3- (assumed tropical:) He (a camel, TA) fed upon the small and dry parts of the branches. (K, TA.) This a camel does only by reason of soundness, and of surpassing strength. (TA.) ― -b4- احتطب عَلَيْهِ فِى الأَمْرِ i. q. احتقب [app. meaning (assumed tropical:) He took upon himself a burden, or a responsibility, in the affair; as though he bound it like a bundle of firewood upon his back].
