حذق

خِذْقَةٌ ذ A piece, or portion cut off, of a rope: pl. حِذَاقٌ and حُذَاقٌ; as in the phrase, تَرَكْتُ الحَبْلَ حِذَاقًا and حُذَاقًا [ I left the rope in pieces ]. (K.) [See also what next follows.]
