حذق

7 انحذق ذ It (a rope) was, or became, cut. (K, TA.) Hence the saying of the poet, يَكَادُ مِنْهُ نِيَاطُ القَلْبِ بَنْحَذِقُ [ The suspensory of the heart is near to becoming severed in consequence thereof ]. (TA.)
