حجو

حَجٍ حج : see حَجِىٌّ. -A2- اـِنَّهُ لَحَجِىٌ اـِلَى بَنِى فُلَانٍ means لَا جِئٌ لَهُمْ [i. e. Verily he is betaking himself for refuge, or protection, to the sons of such a one; like لَحَجِئٌ: but by rule it should be لَحَجٍ; and thus, perhaps, it is correctly written]. (AZ, TA.)
