حَاجُورٌ حاجور : see حِجْرٌ: ― -b2- and حَاجِرٌ. ― -b3- Also A refuge; a means of protection or defence: analogous with عَاثُورٌ, which signifies “a place of perdition:” whence, وَقَالَ قَائِلُهُمْ اـِنَّى بِحَاجُورِ And their sayer said, Verily I lay hold on that which will protect me from thee and repel thee from me; مُتَمَسِّكٌ being understood.
