عيق

عَيْقَةٌ ذ The shore, and side, of the sea: (A'Obeyd, S, O, K:) pl. عَيْقَاتٌ. (TA.) ― -b2- And an open, or a wide, space of ground, in front, or extending from the sides, of a house: or a yard, or court. (TA.)
