عول

مُعْوَلٌ ذ , followed by عَلَيْهِ, Wailed for: thus in the trad., المُعْوَلُ عَلَيْهِ يُعَذَّبُ, (S, O,) or, as some relate it, ↓ المُعَوَّلُ; i. e. He (of the dead) who is wailed for will be punished. (O.)
