عوق

4 اعاقهُ ذ : see 1, first sentence. -A2- أَعُوَقَ بِىَ الدَّابَّةُ, or الزَّادُ, The beast, or the travelling-provision, [ by failing me, ] disabled me from prosecuting my journey; syn. قَطَعَ.
