عوذ

10 اـِسْتَعْوَذَ see 1, first sentence. فَا@سْتَعِذْ بِا@للّٰهِ in the Kur xvi. 100 means Then say thou أَعُوذُ بِا@للّٰهِ [ I seek protection, or preservation, by God; &c.]. (L.)
