مُعْلَنْدَدٌ ذ and مُعْلَنْدِدٌ: see عُنْدَدٌ, in six places. -A2- The latter also signifies A country, (Ibn- 'Abbád, O,) or land, (K,) containing neither water nor pasture. (Ibn-'Abbád, O, K.) It is mentioned in different places by the lexicographers; in arts. علد and علند and in the present art.
