عمد

عُمُدَّانٌ ذ (O, K, TA, in the CK عُمَّدان) Tall; (O, K;) applied to a man; fem. with ة, applied to a woman: (O:) and ↓ مُعْمَدٌ, (A, K,) like مُكْرَمٌ [in measure], (K,) or ↓ مُعَمَّدٌ, (O,) signifies the same, (A, O, K,) applied to a man; (A;) and so ↓ طَوِيلُ العِمَادِ.
