(S, O, K.) ― -b2- Hence, (O,) أَعْلَاطُ الكَوَاكِبِ (assumed tropical:) The shining, or brightly-shining, stars, (الدَّارَارِىّ, K, TA, [in the O الدَارّىٰ, an evident mistranscription,]) that have no names: (O, K:) or the named, known stars; as though they were مَعْلُوطَة, i. e. marked with brands. (O.) [See also عِلَاطٌ.] ― -b3- And عُلُطٌ signifies Tall she-camels: ― -b4- and short asses. (IAar, O, K.)
