عقب

عَقْبَةُ القَمَر ذ i. q. عِقْبَةُ القَمَرِ, q. v. (L.) -A2- And عَقْبَةٌ and ↓ عِقْبَةٌ signify Variegated, or figured, cloth: (TA:) or one of the sorts of variegated, or figured, cloths [ that serve for the covering ] of the [ women's camel-vehicle called ] هَوْدَج: (O, K, TA:) as also عَقْمَةٌ: (O, TA:) accord. to Yaakoob, the ب is a substitute for م. (TA.)
