عَطَّافٌ ذ : see عَطُوفٌ, in three places. ― -b2- العَطَّافُونَ is like العَكَّارُونَ, meaning (assumed tropical:) They who return to the fight [after fleeing, or wheeling away]. (TA in art. عكر.)
