عسم

عَسَمٌ ذ [mentioned above as an inf. n.] signifies A rigidity in the wrist, and ankle; in consequence of which the hand, and foot, became distorted: (S, K:) or, as some say, a rigidity in a man's wrist: (TA:) or a distortion in the hand, or arm, in consequence of a rigidity in the wrist, or in the elbows.
