عسل

عَسْلٌ ذ : see عَنْسَلٌ, below. -A2- عَسْلًا لَهُ means تَعْسًا لَهُ [i. e. May he stumble and fall; &c.; (see art. تعس;) عَسْلًا being app. an inf. n., of which, in this sense, the verb is not mentioned]: (O, K:) [or may he be reviled; for] it is said that العَسْلُ signifies the reviling in blaming.
