عسف

7 انعسف ذ It bent, or inclined; syn. انعطف. (O, K.) Hence, (TA,) Aboo-Wejzeh says, ↓ وَا@سْتَيْقَنَتْ أَنَّ الصَّلِيفَ مُنْعَسِفْ meaning [ And she knew, or became sure, that ] the side of the week [ was bending, or inclining ]. (O, TA.)
