مُعْتَزٌّ ذ is syn. with مُسْتَعِزٌّ. (TA.) You say, أَنَا مُعْتَزٌّ بِبَنِى فُلَانٍ and بِهِمْ ↓ مُسْتَعِزٌّ [ I reckon myself strong by means of the sons of such a one ]. (A.) ― -b2- فَرَسٌ مُعْتَزَّةٌ A mare having thick and strong flesh. (TA.)
