2 عرّى القَمِيصَ ذ He put button-loops (عُرًى [pl. of عُرْوَةٌ]) to the shirt; as also ↓ اعراهُ. (TA.) ― -b2- And عرّى المَزَادَةَ, thus, with teshdeed, in copies of the K, agreeably with the Tekmileh, or ↓ عَرَى [or عَرَا], without teshdeed, as in the M, (TA,) He put a loop-shaped handle (عُرْوَة) to the مزادة [or leathern water-bag ].
