عرف

عُوَيْرِفٌ ذ [dim. of عَارِفٌ, i. e. signifying One possessing little knowledge &c.]. One says of him in whom is a sin, or crime, مَا هُوَ اـِلَّا عُوَيْرِفٌ [ He is none other than one possessing little knowledge ]. (TA.)
