عَرْفَةٌ ذ A question, or questioning, respecting a subject of information, in order to know it; (K, * TA;) as also ↓ عِرْفَةٌ. (K, TA.) -A2- See also عَرْفٌ. -A3- Also A purulent pustule that comes forth in the whiteness [or palm ] of the hand. (ISk, S, O, K.)
