مُعَارِضٌ ذ A camel that does not go straightly in the file, or series, but takes to the right and left: (A:) or a she camel such as is termed عَلُوق; that makes a show of affection with her nose [ by smelling her young one ], (تَرْأَمُ بِأَنْفِهَا,) and refuses to yield her milk. (AA, O, K.)
