عدف

عَدْفٌ ذ : see عَدُوفٌ. ― -b2- Also A small quantity of fodder, or provender. (L, K.) ― -b3- And A small gift. (IF, O, K.) One says, أَصَبْنَا مِنْ مَالِهِ عَدْفًا [in the TA فى ماله] i. e. [ We obtained from his property ] a small gift. (IF, O.)
