عثم

عَيْثُومٌ ذ A great camel. (As, S. [See also عَيْتُومٌ.]) And Anything big, or bulky, and strong. (TA.) ― -b2- And The female elephant: (El-Ghanawee, S:) or the elephant, male and female: (K:) pl. عَيَاثِمُ. (TA.) ― -b3- And The ضَبُع [i. e. hyena, or female hyena ]. (A'Obeyd, S, K.)
