عتب

مَعْتُوبٌ ذ is for مَعْتُوبٌ عَلَيْهِ [i. e. Reproved, blamed, or censured; &c.]: Mtr says, it is said to signify مُفْسِدٌ [ corrupting, rendering unsound, vitiating, &c.]; but I am not sure of it. (Har p. 77.)
