ضرح

4 اضرح ذ i. q. أَبْعَدَ: (K:) you say, أَضْرِحْهُ عَنْكَ, (so accord. to two copies of the S,) or ↓ اضْرَحْهُ, (so in one of my copies of the S, [i. e. اِضْرَحْهُ, from ضَرَحَهُ, in my other copy of the S اضْرحْهُ, so that the correct form of the verb in this sense is doubtful,]) meaning أَبْعِدْهُ [i. e. Remove thou, or put far away, him, or it, from thee ]. (S.) [In the TA, it is also expl. as meaning دَفَعَ, which is likewise a signification of ضَرَحَ.] ― -b2- And He corrupted, or vitiated, (O, K,) him, or it. (O.) ― -b3- And أَضْرَحْتُ السُّوقَ I made, or found, the market to be stagnant, or dull, with respect to traffic; syn. أَكْسَدْتُهَا. (O, K. *)
