ضجع

ضُجْعَةٌ ذ One whom people often lay upon his side [or throw down ]. (K, TA.) ― -b2- [And app., One who lays others on the side, or prostrates them; as is implied by what here follows.] ― -b3- (assumed tropical:) A disease: (K, TA:) because it lays the man upon his bed.
