ضَابِئٌ ذ [act. part. n. of 1, Cleaving to the ground: &c.:] expl. by El-Harbee as meaning a sportsman concealing himself. (TA.) ― -b2- Also Ashes; (M, K;) because they cleave to the ground. (TA.)
